FOTR Second Annual Golf Outing and Silent Auction Fundraiser

Our Second Annual Golf Outing and Silent Auction Fundraiser on May 24, 2010 at the Dearborn Country Club was a huge success. Thank you to all of our sponsors, participants, and volunteers without whom, we would not have been as successful. All monies raised will be used by Friends of the Rouge to promote restoration and stewardship of the Rouge River watershed through their public education and public involvement programs.

It is imperative that all those who live, work, and learn within the watershed realize that their actions affect our river and impact the environment. FOTR programs are designed to promote awareness of watershed conditions allowing citizens the opportunity to become stewards of their own neighborhoods and create a healthy legacy for future generations.

The Dearborn Country Club was founded in 1923 by Henry Ford with the Clubhouse designed by Albert Kahn. The golf course, designed by C.E. Robinson, is laid out on 160 acres and has hosted the PGA Champions Tour, "Tournament Players Championship", and LPGA events.

Please stay tuned to this page for details on next year's Golf Outing.
