Reports to: Executive Director/Education Manager
Work location: FOTR headquarters in Plymouth, MI and in all 48 Rouge River communities, some remote work
Hourly Salary: $18-$22

Position Description
The Community Organizer serves as project support for all Friends of the Rouge programs. The Community Organizer networks and mobilizes the community to support the Rouge River by identifying common goals, needs, and opportunities for collaboration. This position will be proactive, seek out partners, identify new audiences, and develop intentional and authentic relationships to service our communities better by understanding their unique community strengths and needs. This is a new, part-time position, with the hope of transitioning to full-time within the year.
