Project description: The Detroit River Coalition (https://www.detroitrivercoalition.com/) is a binational environmental resource hub leveraging collective partnerships to reduce litter pollution in the Detroit River through education, coordination, and clean-up services, as well as celebrate its natural and cultural significance for communities throughout the Great Lakes Region.
We will be cleaning up trash from the park and have magnet fishers cleaning from the riverbanks. All supplies needed will be provided. Please dress for the weather and wear closed-toe shoes.
Workday location: Fort Street Bridge Park – located on the northeast side of the intersection of Fort Street/ Oakwood Blvd and Denmark St. Parking space available on Denmark St., Detroit. Look for the large gear sculpture!
