Project description: Join the effort to build a brand new rain garden at the Plymouth Municipal Yard! Over the course of three volunteer days, we’ll mulch and plant this 2,400 square foot rain garden, which will soak up and filter over 11,000 gallons of stormwater every time it rains. The garden will feature an attractive diversity of native plants that support birds, butterflies, and pollinator species. This spring, make a real difference on behalf of your Rouge River!
Workday location: Plymouth Municipal Yard
Registered participants will receive a map the week before the project.
