Project description: The location of this event has been moved to the Southfield Civic Center (previously scheduled at Mary Thompson Farm).
Get your hands dirty this summer and make a difference for your Rouge River. Over three days, we’ll plant this demonstration rain garden, which will filter thousands of gallons of stormwater every time it rains. The garden will feature native plants that support birds, butterflies, and pollinator species. This year, make a real difference on behalf of your Rouge River!
Workday location: Southfield Civic Center
Registered participants will receive a map the week before the project.
