Cidney Calloway is a Detroit native, community advocate, and nature lover who is passionate about justice, equity, and environmental healing. She currently serves as co-chair of the Detroit Reparations Task Force and has previously worked with Detroit Public Schools Community District and the Detroit Justice Center. Cidney finds joy in the outdoors and often explores green spaces alongside her sister Candace, founder of The Black Pack, an organization dedicated to connecting Black communities to careers in nature through hiking and other outdoor adventures. When she’s not organizing or building community, Cidney enjoys playing music, crafting, reading, video games, football and being near the water.
