Dearborn Rain Gardens 101 Workshop
Description
Come find out about rain gardens, and how you can build one in your yard! This one-hour introductory workshop is free and open to the public – everyone is welcome.
In a rain garden, beautiful Michigan native plants soak up rainwater runoff before it flows into storm drains. Rain gardens reduce neighborhood flooding, basement backups, and pollution flowing into your Rouge River. Rain gardens also provide habitat for songbirds, butterflies and other important pollinators. You can be part of the solution right in your own yard!
