Logjam Workday in Canton

Location

Morton-Taylor Trailhead, Canton, MI 48188

Description

Join your Friends for a Logjam Workday in Canton at the Morton Taylor Trailhead on Sunday, May 18 from 9:30am – 12:30pm. We will be working to clean and open logjams on the Lower Rouge River Water Trail to prepare for the June 7 Canton River Days Paddle Trip.

Cleaning and opening logjams is inherently dangerous work and waders are needed to enter the river. FOTR will provide waders for volunteers who request and indicate their size upon registration.

Help clean and open safe rouges on the Lower Rouge River Water Trail in your community!

When: Sunday, May 18 from 9:30 am – 12:30 pm
Where: Morton-Taylor Trailhead, Canton, MI
