Description

Learn about native plants as you plant a beautiful native garden at Mary Thompson Farm in Southfield. Native plants collect and soak up rain water before it reaches a storm drain, create food and habitat for native wildlife and pollinators, and reduce local flooding. All ages and gardening experience welcome! Gloves, tools, and water will be provided. Please come wearing closed-toed shoes and weather appropriate gardening clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty. Join in on the planting fun and make your mark!
