Friends of the Rouge is working to open the Lower Rouge Water Trail from Canton to River Rouge for kayaks and canoes. As part of the project, we need to keep the water trail clear of logjams and woody debris.

Clearing logjams is hard, physical work, and we need your help. The work involves wading in the river and working as a team to do some heavy lifting. If you are interested and can help, please sign up and we will notify you about workdays:
