Friends of the Rouge is now accepting nominations for individuals interested in serving on our Board of Directors for the 2027–2029 term.
Our Board plays a vital role as both fiduciaries and funders, guiding the mission to restore, protect, and enhance your Rouge River watershed. We are seeking leaders who bring curiosity, commitment, and a diversity of perspectives, backgrounds, and skills.
Candidates must be active Friends of the Rouge members in good standing or willing to become members.
WHO SHOULD CONSIDER APPLYING?
- People who think analytically and creatively
- Individuals with experience in advocacy, law, finance, fundraising, strategic planning, or community engagement
- Those with expertise in our program areas: monitoring, restoration, trails, and education
- Anyone committed to learning, volunteering their time, and advancing our mission
- Candidates must be active Friends of the Rouge members in good standing or willing to become members.
