Dearborn Rain Gardens 101 Workshop
Location
Ford Community & Performing Arts Center, Studio A 15801 Michigan Avenue, Dearborn, MI 48126Description

Come find out about rain gardens, and how you can build one in your yard! This one-hour introductory workshop is free and open to the public – everyone is welcome.
In a rain garden, beautiful Michigan native plants soak up rainwater runoff before it flows into storm drains. Rain gardens reduce neighborhood flooding, basement backups, and pollution flowing into your Rouge River. Rain gardens also provide habitat for songbirds, butterflies and other important pollinators.
The City of Dearborn is also getting two new public rain gardens. At this workshop, you’ll also find out how you can be a part of this groundbreaking event.
Register today for this Dearborn Rain Gardens 101 Workshop, and share with your neighbors, friends, and family!
