Description

Plant a rain garden with your Friends at Golfview Park in Plymouth Township!

A rain garden uses native plants to collect and soak up rain water before it reaches a storm drain. Rain gardens prevent flooding and reduce pollution in your local rivers. They also provide food and shelter for pollinators, birds, and other wildlife.

There will be two days for planting the gardens at Golfview Park. You are invited to join for either day or both! All experience levels welcome! Please dress appropriately for gardening work and the weather with closed toed shoes and clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty. Bring a refillable water bottle. Gloves and tools will be provided.
