Description

Grow Hamtramck is hosting a block party at Pulaski Park in Hamtramck! Grow Hamtramck is a tree-planting and tree-care program created by the City of Hamtramck. Friends of the Rouge will be hosting a “How to Plant Trees Workshop” during the event. This planting will increase the city’s overall tree canopy coverage and allow for a healthier, cleaner Rouge River. There will be food, games, crafts, and learning opportunities for the block party, so come on out for a fun time and meet others in your community!

There are a variety of ways to volunteer, such as setting up, sharing Friends of the Rouge info at tables, leading craft activities, taking photos, promoting the event, and assisting with clean up. Any time and support you can offer will make this event enjoyable for everyone.

All ages and experience welcome! All materials will be provided. Please sign up for the event at the link below.
