Description

Start off your weekend with fresh air, good company, and fun plants as you install a beautiful rain garden at the Southfield Civic Center. Rain gardens use native plants to collect and soak up rain water before it reaches a storm drain. They also provide habitat for native wildlife and reduce pollution going to your river. All ages and gardening experience welcome! Gloves, tools, and water will be provided. Please come wearing closed-toed shoes and weather appropriate gardening clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty. We hope to see you there!
