Pugnose Shiner

Notropis anogenus

Pugnose shiners are endangered in Michigan as they are extremely sensitive to any turbidity. In 2018, FOTR’s surveys of Upper Long Lake in Bloomfield Township found a healthy population in this clear vegetated lake.
