Everyone has a wish list. Even your river!

These are the tools that make the magic happen for caring people like you in action!  Every little bit helps.

  1. (1) Van or 4 door-Truck – FOTR is in need of a reliable, safe form of transportation to host and attend events across the watershed. Ideally, this vehicle would have the capacity to tow our 15′ trailer full of plants/equipment.
  2. (10) Dissecting Microscopes – Teachers, students, volunteers, bug hunt “Team Leaders”, and guests rely on these “scopes” to make merry science in the Friends of the Rouge lab! Your kindness opens the doors (and the eyes) to discovery! WALTER QZA/QZB ZOOM STEREO MICROSCOPES, (#QZA, BINOCULAR)
  3. (many) Old newspapers – for weed control and moisture retention in our rain gardens
  4. USPS stamps – Ahhh… it is fun to get snail mail thank you notes from Friends!  If you have extra “Forever” stamps, an old stamp collection that you no longer want to store, or simply a stash of stamps that you will never lick – we’ll take them with gratitude!
  5. Kayaks (2) – “river runners” or plastic kayaks that are ~ 9 or 10 feet.
  6. Cannon 90 D (2) – You can power more special videos like the “Rouge UnCruise”.
  7. Zoom Audio Recorder
  8. Green Screen
  9. Lav Mic Kit
  10. LED Light Kit
  11. Pro Tripod (2)
  12. Shoulder Mount (2)
  13. Accessible Gardening Tool Kits (2) – A cleaner Rouge River takes us all! Support disability access at volunteer events with a new travel tool kit that includes: magnifiers, extended reach and easy grip tools, tool extension attachments, cushions and more!
  14. Chemical Standards – We all have standards – and so do the hardy instruments that Friends use to measure River health. Give the gift of chemicals and support long-term River monitoring!
  15. Office Desks — Staff is growing to serve you better. Your kindness makes it possible to get the work done.
