Hands-On Learning Workday at Salem Township Hall Rain Garden
Come for the tour, stay for the hands-on learning volunteer workday! Enjoy the chance for a guided exploration of a 500 square foot rain garden at Salem Township Hall. Built in 2019, the garden did not get connected to its water source until Fall 2020; how will the garden have fared? Then, get your hands dirty weeding the garden, helping to ensure it serves as a stellar demonstration site for community members to enjoy. All volunteers will be required to follow Covid-19 safety procedures, including wearing masks and maintaining 6ft distance from others outside your family group, and the project will be capped at 15 attendees.
