Project Description:
Downriver Delta CDC in partnership with Friends of the Rouge and the Detroit River Coalition invite you to this Earth Day cleanup! Join us to clean up this beautiful park by picking up litter before it makes its way into the Rouge River. Trash bags will be provided on-site.

Volunteers will meet at the large gear statue at the park. Parking available at the park and along Denmark St. No restrooms available on-site. Dress for the weather. Please wear closed-toed shoes.

This event is sponsored by the Detroit River Coalition, Downriver Delta Community Development Corporation, and Friends of the Rouge in partnership with Motor City Magnet Fishers.

Accessibility & Difficulty: This is a family-friendly activity!
This event will involve walking, sometimes on uneven terrain. The activities will include light effort (standing, walking, some bending, lifting 5-10 pounds) or moderate to strenuous effort (bending, kneeling, lifting 15-30 pounds). Restrooms are not available on site. Please dress for the weather. Please wear closed-toed shoes.
